Research and Development

The PI3 Kinase (PI3K) and PTEN (phosphatase) signaling pathways coordinate and control multiple upstream and downstream signals responsible for many key cellular activities necessary for cancer and other disorders. PI3K and PTEN act against each other to create and maintain the proper balance of the key regulator molecule PIP3 in cells. Modulation of either of these proteins’ functions could address unmet therapeutic areas.
